I work with founders in two ways. Both are below, so you can see which one fits before you write to me: founder advisory or the Operations Bleed Audit.
Operational diagnostics. I find where your business is losing money or time, and trace why back to the part of the operation that causes it.
Financial modeling. I build unit economics, scenarios, and EBITDA bridges from stated assumptions you can check line by line.
Commercial strategy. I work through pricing, go-to-market, and the decisions that sit between your product and the revenue it is supposed to make.
Hands-on delivery. I am just as comfortable being the operator as the advisor: running a project or a commercial operation end to end, owning a team, and being accountable for the result, not only recommending from the outside.
Here is how it works: 01 you and I have a short call about your business and the specific problem, 02 I scope a diagnostic and name what it needs up front, 03 I deliver a written diagnostic and a model, and walk you through both.
Proof: self-directed practice work
Proof here is limited to independent, public work: client engagements are not shown by name unless the client agrees to be identified, or referenced only in anonymised form.
This is a free diagnostic. I build it entirely from what is already public about your store: your ads, your reviews, your listings, your emails, your product pages. I do not need access to your backend to run it.
On Spacegoods, a UK DTC supplement brand, I delivered a 9-page report in 48 hours. It found £58K to £94K a month in likely leaks across 6 findings.
The 6 findings, in plain terms: ads pointing to a sold-out SKU, a broken post-purchase email flow, an ingredient-labeling inconsistency, grey-market pricing on Amazon, AI-only deflection on Trustpilot reviews, and a gap between stated and actual delivery times. Each traces to a public source you can check yourself.
I run one of these a week, for one real brand, for free. If you want the fixes built, that becomes a fixed-fee engagement, scoped after you see the audit.
Currently running one new audit a week.
The diagnostics above run on named methods documented on the Press page and in the framework library PDF:
RECAST / AICE, my framework for how AI decision-support changes founder reasoning. The EBITDA Trace, my method for tracing an operational metric to its EBITDA impact. The Structured-Analyst Method, my process for building a model you can audit line by line.
Check the process, not my history: every number traces.
The audit is free. Advisory work and any fix you want implemented after the audit are scoped and priced after we talk.
Yes. An NDA is available for advisory engagements. The audit itself only draws on information already public about your store.
No. Advisory work is open to any founder. The audit is specific to DTC and ecommerce, because that is where its public signals exist.
Tell me about your business and the specific problem, and say whether advisory or the audit fits, if you already know.
